9.8/10 stinky bananas
One of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Simple as that. Easily the best Nolan movie. Better than Inception. Better than Interstellar. Better than The Dark Knight.
The only knock on this movie is that if you sleep-watch the first 20 or 30 mins of the movie: you might be lost by the time the second act comes around. The movie is a serious mind bender and your attention is required. If you pay attention and you follow the story as closely as possible, you will be rewarded.
Even if the storyline isn’t your cup of tea, you can, at the very least, appreciate the action scenes. The action scenes with the time inversion were truly a sight to see. Completely unique and incredible. I guarantee it is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
I would be remissed not to mention the acting of John David Washington and Robert Pattinson. JDW is a rising star and has all the talent of his Dad: Denzel Washington. Robert Pattinson has established himself as a top-tier actor and it is about time people start recognizing that.
An absolute must-watch movie.
