9.1/10 stinky bananas
Everybody loves this movie, and rightfully so. The Top Gun sequel is a fucking smash hit. One of the best sequels I’ve ever seen. Tom Cruise pretty much made another Mission Impossible movie but called it Top Gun.
The jet action in this movie is un-fucking-believable. I’ve never seen anything like it. It is fucking incredible. I honestly don’t know how to describe it. You must see it to believe it, preferably in theaters.
I love Tom Cruise. Nobody is more committed to making amazing action movies than Tom Cruise. He fucking rules. I also love that he always has a scene of him sprinting so hard in his movies. Why does he do this? Who knows. But I hope he does it in his 80s when he is still making crazy ass action movies.

Outstanding soundtrack
The last 30 minutes of this movie is pure action. Absolutely fantastic thrill ride.
My biggest gripe with this movie is the romantic subplot. The director made it seem like we were supposed to know who Jennifer Connelly’s character is. I thought for a second that they recasted the girl from the original, but that was not the case. The movie would’ve been better as a whole if they cut that entire part of the story.
My smallest gripe with this movie is the lack of Danger Zone. I think they only played it once. What the hell is that all about? It’s not truly Top Gun if Danger Zone isn’t played 37 times throughout the movie.
Anyway, Top Gun: Maverick is an awesome movie. I haven’t heard a single person say they didn’t like it. That’s typically a good sign. Go watch this movie if you know what’s good for you.
